Qadeer A.

Qadeer A. is a serious, hardworking, and focused developer. Junaid, Qadeer’s Team Lead, told us: “I am very pleased with Qadeer’s performance. He is a consistently well performing guy on my team, a very dedicated person, and a good team player. I never worry about his attendance and whether he will be there on time, since he is extremely punctual. I have never seen such a hard working developer. His client always has tight deadlines and Qadeer always is on top of everything. Qadeer’s client is also very pleased with him and always has him working on multiple projects at a time. Another good thing is that Qadeer never lets us down. I am very proud of him, and expect that he will remain consistent and continue doing good work!”

Qadeer’s client, Justin, had this to say about his work: “Qadeer is a pleasure to work with. I am very lucky to have him as part of our team. Great attitude, hard worker, team player, talented, and the list goes on and on. I am fortunate to call him a great employee and a great friend. It is a pleasure working on these amazing websites for these amazing clients with him. He is always a joy to work with and these projects always comes together in the end.”

What got you started in web development?
I started my IT career with teaching. After my first teaching job, I joined the OCS Courier service as a Computer Operator but within my first week there they offered me a position as a Computer In-Charge. That job was the first time I started programming and I used FoxPro. I was learning networking skills by using Novel and Windows networking. During that job I also started learning HTML, and after leaving that job I started working on web development. At each new job I learned more new technologies like HTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, and the Zend Framework. Now my most of work is in Zend. Other than web development I also worked as desktop application developer in .NET technology for a period of time.

What age group did you teach at the beginning of your career?
First I taught short courses, but then I got the chance to teach computer science classes for Bachelors students. It was only for a very short time, around three or four months. I taught the shorter courses for about two years.

So, tell me a little about your time working with our company.

In my 14 years of experience, this company has been the best company. It’s number one. I have learned lot of management skills here. There are restrictions on us, but the also company takes care of us. I can work here with a relaxed mind. I love all the policies of this company. The company does not force us to stay late, so it’s our duty to come in on time and spend our time properly working.

Next, tell me about your family!
I am married, and we have three baby girls together. Faiza Ambreen is nine years old, Aalia Qadeer is six years old, and the youngest, Rania Qadeer, is just one month old. My wife and I have been married for ten years. She’s a great cook and manages the whole house.

DSCN4702So what do you and your family like to do in your free time?
In Sri Lanka we spend time together by watching Indian movies on TV. Sometimes we go to KFC, McDonald’s, or to a park. If I get some free time, I like to play computer games. My wife loves to go out to eat.

What computer games do you enjoy?
These days, I play MaxPay. I mostly like strategic games, like Age of Empires. These games help me to power up my brain for next workday.

Qadeer’s favorite food is pizza, he can eat a medium pizza alone in one sitting, and he loves all action movies. If an alien showed up on Qadeer’s doorstep, he would shake hands with him and welcome him to come in.
